As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Planbox, you will work closely with Sales and Marketing teams by actively identifying potential outbound opportunities and lining up appointments in defined market segments for the Inside Sales and Field Sales organization. You will also help qualify and prioritize inbound opportunities. You will understand client’s challenges and desired outcomes to help differentiate our solution and explain the business use of our product. You will nurture both inbound and outbound leads through a defined process to identify the right timing to involve the sales organization to drive new customer acquisition.
- Lead generation by outbound efforts and leveraging social communities to identify potential opportunities.
- Lead generation by qualifying inbound leads
- Setting appointment for Inside and Field Sales organization
- Nurture new leads as well as no contact, postponed, no decision and lost opportunities to identify opportunity to reengage and reconnect to create a new qualified opportunity
- Work with Marketing to prioritize and target the right inbound and outbound leads
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Able to communicate effectively with technical resources and C-level executives across the client organization
- Highly skilled in listening and written communications
- Work in a team environment
- Proven problem solving capabilities demonstrated by examples of out of the box solutions based on highly dynamic situations
- Experience in qualifying and managing leads in an outbound demand generation setting
- Experience using a CRM application
- Knowledge of other complementary solutions in project management, agile, product lifecycle management or business process management
- Understanding different customer environments and organizational functional areas ranging from New Product Development, Six Sigma, IT, HR, Engineering, Services to Finance
