We had a little chat with Francisco Cantero, Co-Founder and Project Manager at Neozink. He’s a man extremely passionate and happy about his work; here’s a little interview we did with him.

What is Neozink about?
Neozink (www.neozink.com) is a global communication and advertising agency that is focused in Below The Line (BTL) services: events, roadshows, street marketing, viral marketing, kids marketing, web 2.0… Our claim is “Why don´t you think different?”… and our clients love it!
What is your job there?
I am the project manager. My goal is to organize all the projects that are active and be able to present everything on time and with quality.
What brought you to your current job?
I studied computer science for five years and I have been a programmer since I was 8 years old. After working for many consultancy firms such as PriceWaterhouseCoopers or Accenture, I decided to change my life and put my goals into marketing (I was specialized in CRM solutions) and advertising.
Creating my own company has been a really good experience in my life and it is one of the best things I have ever done.
What’s a typical day like ?
I´d like to be a 9 to 5 worker but… it is impossible at all!!
I have to manage all the three big deparments that the company has: creativity, projects and production.
The first thing I do is to organize my day, priorize the tasks and determine what we are able to do in just “today” (here´s where Planbox appears!!!).
After that, our goal is to achieve that commitment. It is not easy, because we have lots of unplanned issues that appear all through the day.
Being able to get the best of our teams is my objective and that is what I fight for everyday.
What do you love most about your job?
One of the best things of my job is that we create new things everyday. Nothing is similar to other days. We are always “re-inventing the wheel”. We have all kinds of clients, of all sectors, demanding completely different services.
I was escaping from routine… and I got it!!!
What are some of the biggest challenges?
The biggest challenge for us is to surprise our clients with our proposals. When we see their eyes and see how they shine, we know we did it.
What makes you feel rewarded at your job?
When we are proud of what we have created, when we see it works and, finally, when our client says “thanks, my friends”.

I have everything I wish!
When you’re not working, what do you like to do?
I have three big hobbies: training dogs, sailing and my son.
I love walking and training with my dogs (Giant Schnauzer and Mini Schnauzer). My wife does it also. We go around big forests and mountains and the sensation is awesome!
Sailing is my other big hobby. When I sail and there isn´t any land around me, I feel great!
Finally, but the first thing, is my son. He´s 7 years old and we both do many types of activities. The main challenge is to laugh, and we do it all the time!!
