Montreal recently played host to 135 entrepreneurs at Startup Weekend. Begun in Seattle in 2007, there have been over 300 events worldwide in more than 100 cities and 30 countries. It was the first time it was held in Quebec. Since Startup Weekend was launched, more than 2470 start-ups have been created.
