Migrating MVC to the front-end using Backbone JS

Last week I gave a talk at ConFoo talking about our experience integrating Backbone JS. In the presentation I go over:

  • The issue with back-end MVC for dynamic applications like Planbox
  • Our decision to move the MVC stack fron-end for the application
  • Backbone JS, an introdution with code examples
  • The infrastructure we built around Backbone for Planbox
  • Benefits and gains
